being put on till when you have least experience is to develop your experience and confidence with it, no?

I guess that's one of their motives to put me on the till for long shifts, aye. I'm one of the few volunteers without any difficulties/problems so they're trying to bung me on as many shifts as possible even though I said I'd prefer to only do 3 per week at most.

I practiced my sign language with my friend today. She was very impressed.

Things are up and down but a few positives from today and yesterday:

- my dissertation proposal was the best out of my group and my supervisor thinks I have a really interesting and unique topic. Just need to get stuck in now!

- Had a really good talk with my lecturer today. He's excited about one of my projects and he just said not to get too stressed. He totally understood that after working at your job you cba to do anything, he told me not to do uni stuff past a certain time and that even things like watching relevant films can count as work! Also said not to do the impossible like 10hrs worth of work in an hour lmao.

- Got some money from my aunties and granny today, it's nice that despite everything that's going on right now that they still look out for me. Going to treat myself to new shoes and a jacket and then save the rest I think.

First time playing call of duty (modern warfare 3) I don't suck as much as I thought I would. That's only probably because of medal of honour airborne!

Also got battlefield 4. Need to play that!

EDIT: my account is a year old! :)

Got a viewing booked in tomorrow, the start up cost given to me too. Seems like there's finally potential so hopefully the property is okay and everything works out okay.

I bought the first two chapters of the Pokemon Adventures manga recently. I can't get the third chapter yet as the shop didn't have it in stock when I bought the other two.

I got chapter 3 today.

Woke up happy and without any stress for the first time that I can remember. It honestly feels nice. I just lay in bed listening to the birds and watched the sun creep in this morning.

10/10 would do again but it'll probably happen again in January.

So instead of washing dishes for 4 and a half hours, I spent the first hour and a half scrubbing walls and the floor by my station last night, and my GM thought I did a good job, and I still got out 15 minutes earlier than usual for a Saturday. All right as she's starting to do my first evaluation.

Next pay i'm going to give my mom the money I owe her and i'm buying a copy of Melee.

Wrote today, and i dont think it was terrible. Ive been pretty down on my writing recently, so that feels like a pretty big deal atm.

Ill probably look at it tomorrow and realise its all bad but oh well, such is life.

Went to a local larp group today (actually the third time) and, aside from all the fun had with that, because of it I saw a pheasant just kinda run across the path like a foot or so in front of me, which was awesome, two people riding horses, a woodpecker, and a few people walking dogs (I really wanted to pet the dogs but I was in full costume as a crow chimera, complete with wings and a mask, and I didn't want to scare anyone...)

it was a very good day.
When it comes down to it, the difference between healing and necromancy is timing.

Got a low D or a high F on my last quiz in Honors Chemistry, but got 54/55 on this one, and got a slip good for 5 extra bonus points for a future quiz for improving the most from one quiz to the next.

I was playing pokemon yellow. I was in victory Road. I'm trying to find the exit. Then I see this bird shaped character on the screen. I didn't know what to think about it at first. I thought it might have been a trainer in disguise. Then I thought it was bait to lure me in the sight of a trainer. I then pressed A next to the bird. I thought it was a Fearow. But IT WAS A MOLTRES!!! What's moltres doing in victory Road???

^I kept on commenting in this way for a few moments.

Luckily I had a master ball! I caught it and named it phoenix

I take it this is your first play through of the Gen 1 games. Moltres was innn Viictory Road originally and moved in Gen 3 when GF added the Sevii Islands. It was added to Mt Silver in HGSS but was unavailable in Gen 2
