I have realised the world map looks more like a group photo to Hetalia fangirls.
NO HONG KONG IS NOT THE CAPTITAL OF CHINA :facepalm:I've done that ^ to people quite a few times.
That Hetalia fans are the most annoying people ever.
probably the fact that countries are personified and it's all a bit cutesy and it's sometimes at the point where one doesn't want to mention countries or world history around them for fear of starting a barrage of kawaii desu ne eh, whatever shakes your boat i mean the fact that wars and major casualties are reduced to scuffles between bishonen characters makes me feel a bit ill, but I could happily sit and watch two hours of The Real A&E which, similarly, may not be everyone's cup of tea. it's just when it's constantly referred to when talking about actual countries, politics, geography or history that it can get a wee bit annoying so yeah that may be why everyone's different
I can see this, actually. But truly, I play it up a bit Just for the fun of being known around. And the fanwork is actually better than the actual thing, heh, I don't like how un-serious it is either. All of this was big and the world events... Things like that need to be played out better, but, a lot of fans have turned what Hetalia missed into some things really touching and heartfelt, making you look at the world in a whole new way. It makes you recognize the countries and that everything that's happened in the past has really left a mark and really is important, even if you aren't a very event-involved person. It's definitely opened up my eyes to a lot of things.Crazy, isn't it? The show itself is something to laugh at; the fanworks are the art...
OH THE FANWORK!*falls back with loss of blood**coughs* Anywho, there isn't really anything these people should have against us... I mean, really. I bet at least a third of you have obsessed over an anime sometime in your life. And like Ivanwolf said, we do realise what's going on now and it has definitely made my history grade go up.Woo~!
It's much more serious than it seems it fanwork. The anime is... well, a strange, hard-to-follow cartoon. But the fanwork is tear jerking. All of it, knowing what's going on in the world around you...It's a little hard to comprehend just how diverse we all are.I know that sounded cheesy but seriously it came off the top of my head don't judge
