I'm playing a lot of Sound Horizon ATM, but I really need to sit down with a translation of it to get an appreciation of them.
For those that don't know, as far as I can tell, Sound Horizon are a Japanese "fantasy band" and is led by Revo, composer/singer/guitarist/accordianist who at the moment is most famous for creating the Attack on Titan openings and composing the Bravely Default soundtrack under Linked Horizon.
Sound Horizon, on the other hand, differs in that they're not linked directly with any other media but also each of their albums conveys their own story. Through use of narration and a wide variety of instruments, both classical and new, Sound Horizon has produced some really interesting sounding songs.
Supposedly, they're actually quite popular in Japan, at least for a good number of their songs to appear in a Korean karaoke machine that I had the pleasure of singing on the other day. Am I alone or has anyone else listened to them?
