my old school didn't tell me that they wanted ucas forms for early applicants in by the end of the week (the actual deadline is 15th october) until yesterday so now i'm stuck in a limbo of figuring out whether to write a follow up email to my mentor (i emailed him my 2nd draft on friday, which he didn't reply to, and then a third draft yesterday after i'd received the email) or not.  since the 7th september, i've had a 2 in 7 success rate regarding whether he actually responds.  this is just really frustrating because i've spent hours reading and researching and writing and trying to work things out and if i don't get an email response today i won't have time to work out any kinks.

to clarify exactly why this is so frustrating i turned down a place at edinburgh after getting three a* grades at a level so that i could apply for cambridge and for the school to say they'll support me and then not give vital information until seven days before the deadline or respond to my emails really feels like mickey-taking.

thanks gl <3

I feel guilty for using my free time as actual free time instead of doing more college work.

Don't feel guilty. Working nonstop can actually increase stress and have negative impacts on your health. Taking time to unwind will help you in the long run.

I was told this last night but I still felt guilty for actually doing so. I don't want to start working because of the sheer workload but when I don't work it gets worse. I basically have to tie myself to the chair to start working.

Woke up at 4AM to the closest thing to a nightmare I've had in a long while. I'm past the point of just going back to sleep, but I kind of needed to wake up early today, so whatever. Least of my problems now, anyway.

Just sick of my housemates making up dumb rules all the time and erring their knickers in a twist every time I forget even they tiniest thing 🙄
thought I came to uni to get away from stupid parental rules like “don’t air your washing in your bedroom” and “don’t leave the conservatory door open or unlocked at any time cos burglars” nobody is getting into our house you wet wipe find something better to do with your time & stop wasting mine
Honestly have way less rules when I live with my parents

^Meanwhile with 9/10 guys it's "Keep your stuff out of my space, don't destroy my stuff and don't disturb me when I actually to study." So I bet that's not fun

My knees are still messed up and it's spreading. I think something may seriously be wrong.

My mind and body have been making me sex obsessed for ages, and my brother is literally the only straight guy with average inteligence or higher that I know!
What can I do?

I can't get close enough to a guy to have a friendship, let alone a relationship with them.

I mean, if its just sex, its not like you need a relationship for that...
