Stupid video game gambling laws.
Personally, I'd like to see:
The ability to access the PC and transfer Pokémon in the field.
Maybe new legendaries that continue to use the Soar mechanism.
I'd like to see Pokémon Amie and Wonder Trading kept and expanded upon (like being able to scratch the back of your Pokémon, and being able to Wonder Trade more than one Pokémon at a time). Also keep Super Training.
I'd like to see more TMs. Maybe 150 or 200, mostly useful moves like the Elemental Punches that were once once TMs in the past.
Those that can't be TMs be Tutor Moves. If Defog can't be a TM for example, I'd like it as a Tutor Move, so I don't have to a limited selection of Defoggers. I just hate Spin-blockers, so I never use Rapid Spin.
I want them to keep idea of places where you can earn plenty of money and EXP, like the Battle Chateau and the restaurants.
I want the next Dowsing Machine to be more like the one in HG/SS.
I expect that the next remake might actually be R/B/G/Y to celebrate the 20th anniversary.
If so, I want them to go all out, and make the Johto region accessible, and maybe even throw in the Orange Islands. I also expect to be able to catch Pokémon like Houndour and Murkrow in Kanto that you could in G/S/C/HG/SS.

Hahex and Oshawott already beat me to it, but I can still expand upon it:
I've been with Pokémon Showdown for two weeks now, and it is one of the best decisions I've made in months. If you liked the Battle Factory, you'll love Random Battles? If you're scratching your head, still trying to come up with a decent team, Random Battles are a quick, fun way to get into battles, and once again tests your knowledge. They are a good way to get experience with all sorts of Pokémon, and even different types of battles. You might even find some new favorite Pokémon.
And when you're ready, you can quickly put your own team ideas to the ultimate test, and figure which ideas work, and which don't, and quickly find weaknesses to patch.

You know you've been playing way too much Pokémon Shuffle when you can't close your eyes without seeing the puzzle board, and you dream of getting the perfect combo.

Personally, I'd like Mega Golem to get back the arms he lost evolving from Graveler.

Fire: Volcarona Flying: Talonflame Ghost: Gengar, Gengar, Gengar!!! Grass: Ferrothorn. How did I ever get by without one in White?! Ground: Mamoswine Ice: Jynx Normal: Girafarig, but also Tauros, Porygon/2/Z and Snorlax. Poison: Ekans/Arbok. No, I like Muk even more!!! Or anything that is a bug type, imagine Hypno shrieking at a Wurmple.
Oh, how I wish this forum had a "like" button like on Smogon! Or Hypno fainting when one of my Scizors sneaks up on Hypno, and asking him "what're doin'?" before Scizor even has a chance to do anything!

I think that it is ironic that Macherie has a crush on Ali, but they are in different egg groups.
And that pose that Lisia makes! D:

Yeah, I just joined this forum as well a few days ago, because I thought it'd be fun to see what the Name Rater thought of some of my favorite nicknames.
Disappointed that there is a backlog.

Leaving ALL of your Pokémon with Nurse Joy during a night stay. A reference to this CreepyPasta: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8ii3E9mxU0. Yeah, I always keep a Lv. 100 or Ghost type (especially one of my Gengars, because they love to party ALL NIGHT!) on me, just in case.

I suppose if I can't remember the name of Vanilluxe's previous form, that counts as being forgettable. And I just looked at it yesterday while playing Shuffle!

Raising a Timid Riolu into a Lucario without teaching him Nasty Plot, not realizing that only Riolu can learn Nasty Plot, not and Lucario.
Taunting a Primeape because he is locked into a fighting move, and can't touch your Mega Gengar.
If he ever sees you again, and he gets the chance, he might bash your face in, trainer's commands be damned!
For that matter, using Taunt on a Primeape, period.
Battling near a Beedrill's nest. Especially with a Pokémon that can't defend itself very well. And freezing up, and failing to recall him right away.
Challenging a crime syndicate with under-leveled, inferior Pokémon. If they beat your Pokémon, you and your little friends will be sleeping with the fishes, or otherwise slaughtered execution style.
Asking your Hypno to babysit your kids. Unless you also have a Dark or Ghost type that will keep Hypno from getting any ideas. Except for Gengar, because if he is goofing off, and Hypno ambushes him first, Hypno will have free rein of the house. Gengar is many things, but durable is not one of them.

Swirlix, and Slurpuff for that matter. That dopey, numb-tongued look should have put me off, but Slurpuff is actually an impressive Pokémon, with a great move pool, and excellent defense, and Swirlix is actually rather cute.
I'm actually thinking of properly IV breeding one..One of these days.

I'm sure that it has already been said, but Excadrill desperately needs to be able to learn Iron Head by some means other than via Tutoring, because come Gen 7, he'll be stuck without it again.
I mean at least via breeding!
