Looking at the cotton candy, I'm hoping that it can perform a special combo move with Vanillite in battle, giving Vanillite some cotton-candy flavor which would raise its stats? It doesn't seem too Farfetch'd.

The cotton candy isn't so bad, I mean if it was literally on a stick I'd probably feel a lot worse about it.

All the info is pretty terrific, apparently next month's Corocoro is the biggest scoop on X/Y yet. I really have no idea what else they could show us.

The new team isn't so bad, they LOOK good but I hope there is some kind of deeper goal, maybe a dig at capitalism and the morals of money? Just some extra depth would be nice but who knows 'til we play it.

I'm kind of bummed Skrelp is exclusive to Y, I was going to get X unless Xerneas shows up in Y (Much like White = Zekrom) I'm indifferent towards clauncher.

I wish some of the story info would come out, I wonder if Xernas and Yveltal are going to represent Nature vs something. I still think Fairy is going to be more nature-oriented in the future but I'd be interested to know what direction they're taking the whole thing.

Makes up for the fact that I'm still not overly taken by any of the new Pokémon except the legendaries themselves - they're all OKAY, no real complaints and the baby flamingo is pretty cute, just not that excited to own any of them yet ^^; though the more I look at the little cotton candy's face.. :3

When I look through my favorite Pokemon most of mine are never announced in Corocoro anyway, maybe I like 'hipster' Pokemon or something but aside from Meowth being a really obvious example I normally favor the odd ones like Unown or Porygon, I was a big fan of Rotom.

I forgot to mention: The Dark/Psychic squid looks like it's going to be a super annoying Pokemon, I have this feeling I'm going to have trouble with it...in the E4 or something.

As for the other fairy Pokemon (The bird), I'm not too bothered. It seems strange, I wonder what it will evolve into.

Speaking of which I wonder when we'll see some previous-gen evos. I hope that's covered in the 'big scoop' next time.

The pandamon evolution reminds me of beartic
the new pokemon look alright, the enemy team look a bit naff and that squid looks satanic. Its prevo is nice though!

They're the stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' sons of guns. I strongly support this team. And I hope they're the Elite Four this time around, they could be the Four Horseman.

Squid's only weak to Bug, albeit quad weak, until we find out what Fairy's type charts are.

I'm really excited for Pancham's evolution, Dark/Fighting is great and cool typing. Never was a fan of Scrafty, so here's hoping this new Pokemon's good.

This might be just wishful thinking, but could the evil team being focused on money allow for the return of the game corner/casino? As in, the evil team runs it throughout the story, and so the odds are heavily against you until they are defeated/ see the error of their ways? Worth thinking about perhaps.

I'm loving the typing for the squids, I just wish the colour scheme was different. Oh well, perhaps they'll make it easier to get shinies this gen... I really want to use them. Goronda is epic, that'll be staying on my team until I find something better. I reserve the nicknames Darbus and Fyrus (not sure how many of you will get why...)! Oh and thank you Richard and Blaziken, it's good to see I'm not the only one who dislikes Scrafty.

As for the two Fairy-types...Really? I mean, seriously? A ball of candy floss and a pink bird which only has a head and feet? Black mark right there Game Freak.

I'm also a little disappointed with the legends' typings, but more in regards to Yveltal than Xerneas. Why couldn't it have been dragon/dark?

I wonder what this 'scoop of the century' is going to be? I'm going with 30 new Pokemon and a slightly-more-than-basic plot detailing. Plus a summary of the Pokemon found in the first 3 areas.

I'm a little worried about what Xerneas may mean... Without seeing his stats, I can't say much for sure, but STAB supereffective against Dragon, w/ his ability, with the endless streams of Dragon type legendaries.

i think Shushup looks great! i mean, who doesn't want a plague doctor pokemon? i hope its evolved form looks spooky; it'd be neat to see a creepy-looking fairy type

Anyway, back to a more serious note... Natu is alright- there's a certain mystic quality to it's design whereas Spritzee (localisation names have been released by the way) looks like it would taste good if deep fried and served with garlic bread. I agree that if it were to evolve into some sort of flamingo with a plague doctor's mask it would be interesting, but somehow I don't think that will happen.
So far the only fairy type announced which I like is Xerneas, but that appeal is somewhat drowned by the danger it poses to my dragons. Pity them.

Edit: Was just looking through the screenshots on the official site, and one of the Team Flare screenshotss displays them talking about reviving fossils... You know what that means, right? FOSSILS ARE BACK!!
