E - Can you just be deported?

12875. It wasn't for a real GCSE but I got an E on my final Geography Exam.... it's safe to say I didn't take Geography for my options as the teacher deemed my E "an improvement"

12877, wow, the England grading system is similar to the system Simon Cowell uses to grade contestants. Smart Alecy and mean.

12878. The grades you get for each exam are combined to find the mean (effectively, if you got 2 low B's and an A* you'd probably end up with a high B overall, it's still a B though, unfortunately)

12879. @Blaze: Nah, the descriptions were my work. The official thing would go something like:
A* - For students displaying exceptional prowess in the subject
A - For students showing prowess in the subject
B - For students displaying understanding of a subject
C - Fir students showing competence in a subject

Etc...

@chloe: Yeah, each exam is converted to UMS, and then that is added up and converted to a grade.

12883. Urgh, I hate expanding brackets... It's too easy and repetitive...

12887. I was part of the 'Gifted and Talented' scheme, I never went to any of their 'summer schools' or anything so I think they took me off the list. I did get named as one of the potential 'Oxbridge' candidates though, people they predicted could end up at either Oxford or Cambridge Uni... I think I'll have a pop at that one!

12888 Gifted & Talented was p boring, I went to one of the summer things before I started Year 7 and it was a waste of a week. We had a cool weekend trip in the middle of October that year which was kind of fun though.
My mom bought me this new laptop and it gets really hot when the chat is being spammed. Now my leg is starting to hurt because it is getting so hot. Please, if you don't want me to get burned, then don't spam the chat.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

12889, I'm going for Ohio State Uni for meteorology, weather, and the like.

GO Buckeyes! Beat Wisconsin!

Sorry, we play the Wisconsin Badgers tonight in football (You know which I mean), and they are both in the top 25. They are 23, we (Ohio state) are #4
