Spoilers peeps. :P

Very crazy episode, but VERY good kind of crazy. River as Amy's best
friend, River in general, yeah. XD I admit the tiny humans operating a
robot human wasnt the most original idea, but robot bacteria was cool!

Killer dolls next week, yay. :3

They were antibodies! They're your body's little cleanup system, not bacteria :3

I presume we're gonna get a little while of River and the Doctor travelling in the same direction in time? Otherwise we never see her again as she is now, do we? But the Doctor said she'd come looking for them..

Did like the kind of self-fulfilling prophecy going on with the RiverxDoctor romance - he only really fell for her because she was so keen on him when he first met her, but it seems she only fell for him because he loved her when she first met him.

Did Hitler ever get out of that cupboard..? xD

And I don't think I shall be watching next week's episode.. looks far too scary for me ^^;

There's my knowledge of the human body for ya. XD Knew it was one of them words, but forgot.

There is a bit in one of the trailers with River wearing an eyepatch, so I'm sure we havent seen the last of her.

Anyone else thinking oldest question in the universe= Doctor Who?

Very very good episode. Absolutely loved it. Finally getting to know more and more about River her history. This is one we've been waiting for, her first meeting with the Doctor.

If she's Human (+ Timelord), how many years can she live for? Can she live for hundred's and hundred's of years, or the usual human length...or somewhere in between...

Next week looks scary...and according to Matt Smith, River features in this episode in some way...
Yes.

^see, that was the bit that irked me. It felt like we've ~found it all out~ now.

I mean, I live in hope that Moffat will do some epic "omg the little girl =/= river song," but at the moment, it all looks pretty linear;

-Melody Pond is taken as a baby.
-Madame Kovarian trains her to be an assassin.
-She meets the Doctor for the first time in Nazi Germany.
-She becomes a Doctor of Archaeology.
-She has the whole ~Impossible Astronaut~ episode, then the Pandorica, then the Byzantium, then Silence in the Library.

^The end. That's River Song sorted. I mean, yeah, they'll give her more screen time and stuff with the Doctor (after all, we have River Song @ Eyepatch at some point) but...it's kind of undermined the whole thing about them travelling in opposite directions.

Tennant met River for the first time, and River knew she would never see him again. It was powerful stuff.

However, River has now met the Doctor for "her" first time (;o) and...well, Matt Smith is going to be seeing her again. So the impact is lost imo.

Well she used up her ~remaining regenerations~ to save the Doctor, (which is a decent plot device to allow for Tennant not recognising her as a Time lord in Silence in the Library) so I reckon she'll just have extended life.

But yeah, I really liked the episode. I felt that Hitler was a bit of a...let down. I mean, I was ready for some really thought provoking stuff - should they change time etc. But it was...shove him in the cupboard, the end.

"Rule #1 - The Doctor lies."

Love it. Beautiful reference to Silence in the Library. I also love Nalty's idea of River's Timelady name being "The Silence." That is pretty swish.

Clare and I have a huge list of ideas that make us wonder if Moffat has shaped this season around the plot of Silence in the Library. We're going to assemble a bunch of clips to explain our reasoning and shove it on Youtube, geek-style. =D

Looking forward to next week's episode. ^_^

I liked it. Nice to get away from the River Song complex and have an episode that's just an episode by itself.
To be honest I'm sick of River Song. I realised that I don't really like her character, just her storyline, and that seems to be running itself out. I hope there are a couple of red herrings in what we've been given and that it's not as straightforward as it looks.

Anyway. This episode, yeah, was good: the dolls-house theme reminded me of The Magicians of Caprona, haaa.

Not sure about the ending, though: I was expecting it to go on for longer than it did. Also there were some very long explaining-things bits, and not enough of the actual weirdness once the Doctor was in the house... something like that. Can't quite put my finger on it.
So... yeah, it entertained me. Anything that has old ladies getting eaten by binbags and angry men getting eaten by carpets is bound to win some points.

When the Doctor first pointed out that Alex's wife had never been pregnant, I thought that he accidentally revealed to George that he was adopted and that seemed like quite a tittish thing to do :v
but apparently not
ah well

er
yeah

Ah well, interesting to see Doll TFs/conversions. ;)

^To be honest I, more and more, am finding the "scary" things in Doctor Who charming instead... I can't tell whether it's the writing/acting or me. Might be both.

Except for the silence. They're just adorable with their badly-ironed suits. I love them.

Watched it a second time. Liked it a lot more this time. Guess it either had something to do with my headache or the fact I was constructing a new bookcase for my room. -_-

Evil Dolls that turn you into Dolls and Hitler, cupboards sure are not getting a good reputation anymore.... XD
