H.A.A.R.P is killer. No argument. I was really interested to see how they performed Supermassive Black Hole live, it was superb. I just love it when they just break out of a song and go nuts with the effects and improv. especially the Maggie's Farm bit in the middle.
Hullabaloo was also axe-murderous.
Top 5 most played songs I have (No real order):
Dead Star ~ Muse ~ Dead Star/In Your World EPI don't know why I like it, to be honest. Its just an insane, hard rocking riff that makes my head wanna pretend to play the drums. The first time I saw it was the first track on the Hullabaloo DVD - "What an opening!" I thought to myself.
Hyper Music ~ Muse ~ Origin of SymmetryI don't care what anyone says, this track beats all other Muse tracks. Everyone thinks Absolution was the best album. Yeah, it was good, but not as good as Origin of Symmetry
. The riff in this track is more insane than anything I've ever heard. Its very apocalyptic in the verse chords as well. Which is good.
O Baterista ~ Rush ~ Rush in Rio Disc 2For those of you who don't really know about Rush then this is definately NOT a track you should start your Rush fandom on. Its a fantastic complete 8 and a half minute drum solo by Neil Peart which incorporates a fantastic jazz bit at the end which goes against the classical rock stylings of Rush. Fantastic crowd during the whole live show as well.
E-Pro ~ Beck ~ GueroA quirky artist. This is one of his more rocky, catchier riffs. Actually taken from a Beastie Boys track (I forget the name) but remixes it so well. Great start to the album for me and definately belongs in a Becks' Greatest Hits compilation.
Papagenu (He's My Sassafrass) ~ Tenacious D ~ The Pick of DestinyIndescribably fantastic.
