speaking of sunburn related problems
i got burned about a week ago and it's pretty much all healed now but, in its wake, it has left massive amounts of acne. my head is looking like one of those really bumpy oranges

looks like you'are now...........................toast.............. ...........

sorry to hear tho and i hope ur skin gets well soon

Went back to look at my CV and I realised that I had botched an important part of it which left me looking like an absolute spud.

well as long as its not as bad as the guy on the place i lurk elsewhere who sadly reported he threw out a bunch of CVs at hopefuls and in the "i volunteer for additional shifts when others can't make it" part found out he posthumously accidentally left out the letter f

anyway dont u worry and keep on at it and remember every interview or application that went tits up was just Practise for the one that works

//in giffgaff voice, extremely overgregarious// welcome to giffgaff. youve selected the £5 goodybag, nice one. you'll practically run out of data the minute your phone turns on. ha ha. tara for now. BEEP

literally had to update to the £7.50 a month one because for some reason they jump up to 1GB for only two fifty a month more and YES i know on the 11th of the 7 theyre making it so the £5er people have 500MB of data but i need more data now for google maps for this whole "i dont know where anything is or where im going" experience. 1gb is the sweet spot and theres no "i send about 10 texts a month and use about 20 minutes but could really do with lots of internet" package.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~peoples network of the year~~~~~~~~ my ass. id go over there and let them know a thing or two if i wasnt so lazy and fat and stupid
edit: for any giffgaff employees who for some insane reason live on pkmn.net.org.uk.com.html.biz its an okay network i just throw a huge tantrum any time things have to change
trying to practice driving and i clipped a mailbox with my window
it's not a huge deal because it's not damaged but oof im so bad at driving lol
everyones bad at driving until this magical switch goes after ages and ages of sucking horribly at it and they suddenly theyre  good at it. keep clippin mailboxes till u cant clip no more. as in like dont actually clip mailboxes deliberately but like some form of "go at it till you fail at failing" sentiment like that i guess.
protip: anyone who passes their test the first time is either lying, incredibly lucky or bribed the instructor
English exam today. Gonna fail.
you should expect the worst but hope for the best cos goddamn u do not want to get into the habit of sadsack self-fufilling prophecies
i mean i say this and i have no idea if reasonable special needs adjustments have been made which knowing this dumbass pedagogical system (dont start me on uk education but i hear in US education common core is a mess with these nonsensical new unneccessary "modernised" ways of adding and subtracting) they might not've
still try ur absolute best so u can just shrug and go "well i tried at least" & good luck anyway
my dream: earn enough money to own portable air conditioner @ home + prescription sunglasses + fashionable linen/linen+cotton blend clothing and never fear summer again
see i was looking forward to it after old man winter constantly teabagging the nation with his ice cold balls but now im bored of the sun and the concept of warmth in general. that bit in spring where its ~15°C-17ºC and sunny and i can wear a tshirt but feel comfortably chilly is just about ok
you gotta put some added value in there somewhere, rearrange and glue the plasma ball and the lava lamp together creatively as a rare new invention the "plavasma blamp", see how much the two sell individually and then quick sum x + y + 20% and ka-CHING
Random Randomness / Re: How do i say hello to someone
« on: May 01, 2018, 18:35 »
you say it like this "hello" or "hi" or "hey!" and if they dont respond they werent worth saying hello to in the first place (non-verbal PDD notwithstanding)
^ same, sry to hear and hope you're doing as well as you can be rn. idk if this makes sense right now thenamemaster as im still processing a Passing Away incident myself in weird ways i.e. i only get Proper Sad whenever a guy on the tv who looks and sounds a bit like him appears for some weird reason? but just allow yourself to be sad in the ways that are safe & good to you and dont let ppl tell you when or when not to Cry or whatever. everyone deals w/ it their own way. idk if any of this makes sense rn but in any case best of luck
Trying to find a way to break to my partner that I don’t like Marvel films.
I don’t have a problem with hero & action films in general but the marvel franchise panders to an audience so much it’s ridiculous. “Ahhh put in some cool explosions and have a character say ‘uproarious’ after” but let’s not have a good plot or character development or any sort of human authenticity whatsoever.
I watched the first Deadpool film for the first time the other day and it was AWFUL. Nothing the character said or did was genuinely funny. His character had such a sad backstory and that was really good and it would have made such a beautiful superhero tradegy story but then they went and made the character wise cracking but never really gave an explanation as to why he was like that?? And it just read as Marvel being too afraid to make a film you can actually take seriously so they just covered everything up with meaningless quips and fourth wall breaks that the movie never earned. God. Okay I’m done.
invite me 2 your marvel themed wedding where u will be sitting there angrily fake smiling when he makes you ask him if hes more of a wolverine or an iron man in front of all his nerd friends and hi fiving them no matter the answer. youll be sitting there dressed up as black widow reflecting eye daggers off the top of your prosecco at him cos he does the first dance with his lifeside spiderman cardboard cutout instead of you
you have the power to stop this by telling him "marvel is just OK i guess but is it ok if we watch heathers instead of repeating avengers assemble for the 32468489nd time. im just not that into it and i dont think ill ever be."
he ought to hopefully be decent about you not being entirely keen on marvel i guess but if he isn't then thats a shame and he should not be a jerk about it
re: trainchat - i cant remember if i ranted about it Boring Pub Drunk style but i think its hilarious that the trains are the way they are with 999999999x delays and richard branson spending too much money on space for rich people and not enough o nthe trains and yet we still have to bail them out when virgin/stagecoach screw up (see East Coast disaster).
imagine mps like chris grayling et al. having to make do without the tube or the london transport infrastructure, and having to cope literally anywhere else in the country, no 3hr taxis or uber or own cars allowed. can you even imagine the childish tantrums the mps would pull right there on the platform, goin all limp when the station guard would try to pick them up. but its ok because HS2 literally anywhere wont be electrified anytime soon cos all the money has to go into crossrail 2 instead.
Only if we can have a random angry nerd she plucks from the streets as vice.
the vice will have to lose in a tourney to me at a game of smash, i have only ever played the n64 version and mained captain falcon and threw tantrums cos the computer wouldn't let me charge up falcon punch all the time so this is where the challenge comes from, im rly bad at it and am totes Casual Button Masher (as if there was any doubt)
this fails as a selection strategy anyway because nearly everyone ends up vice cos i feel bad about leaving other ppl out........
Every time I try to access my GiffGaff voicemail, it just hangs up. Does anyone else have this problem?
I read the help pages on the official website, and it doesn't seem to solve my problem.
do you hold down the 1 button to get it or do you dial 443?????
Went to a sale at hot topic yesterday and a lot of the clothing I wanted only went up to large at the max, which is disappointing. I have broad shoulders and am 6'0" on the dot, as well as thunder thighs. As much as i'd love to squeeze into that medium, i'll end up ripping it probably.
youd think the shop that caters to awkward depressed ppl would have its clothing in sizes that awkward depressed people would be, but because no-one buys their stuff cos you have to be a literal baby to fit it instead hot topic et al. have to make it up by charging 99999999999 quid for everything instead.
honestly when i am prime minster of the world im making it so that the reverse is the case instead, clothing comes in all sizes except diet twink size & is produced in surplus so i can sell it for cheap to nerds instead of havin to wait for sales. and for once hot topics previous target audience has to go to the tailors/has to learn how to sew/screenprint/diy etc instead and you can bet theyd cry all day on social media & crowdfund a plot to assassinate me cos theyre that much of sore losers about being the ones who couldnt find cool clothes for once
I sometimes wonder if Nintendo/Game Freak forget that pokemon is a kid's game when designing their pokemon. Do they really need to give pokemon asses? Especially female only one?
Also, I think I spelt stripe as strip.
i still can't see this sazazzle ass really
youve clearly been thinking way too much about this and spinning sazazzle around in the pokedex for hours and hours while goin "oh yeh dance for me bebby" and having to wipe all the drool off the screen every three minutes i think. the "strip" freudian slip/typo only proves your guilt
Sometimes I forget sonic underground was an actual thing and not just a year-long fever dream I had
i can't get into underground cos i cant stand singing bits (its why steven universe and occasionally gumball despite bein my faves can be so annoying) but it can take second place to AoSTH cos it retained the campiness + had knuckles + made me feel Emotional with that manic/robot baby bit
its deffo an imrpovement over SatAM
i dont know if this belongs here and looking back it makes complete sense in retrospect but its still a complete mindfudge (pg friendly pkmn.net version) that urkel voiced sonic the hedgehog
edit: toning down my post cos im cranky 2day sorry every1 but still keeping bits of it
shaymin i have a better idea i suggest you immediately spend £999999999 on a solid gold block to sleep on
Spoiler: poor people mattress lifehack • show
for real my poor ass keeps two old duvets on top of the mattress underneath the duvet cover to deaden the crappiness of the mattress and when i got the Ability i clear the bed off and rotate the mattress (kinda longways then shortways) every few weeks/months or so wherein it feels mysteriously flatter (fat butt flattening springs down on one side?).
p.s. memory foam will make you a sweaty mess cos it has terrible heat/moisutre retention and is the mattress equivalent of wearing a pvc suit. this is sadly a Known Quality of the thing but its cheap and the people selling it know this but dont care and want the moolah and will just shrug and do Urkel phrases if you take them up on it
