hey yall! so for a pokemon go discord server i'm in for my local area, they're currently holding a contest for some cute things and the premise is... design your own Eeveelution! So I went with a Flying type. It took me approximately 2 hours to gather sprites, throw them together, then sprite over after resizing and rotating to make the following. It's been quite some time since I've done any spriting on this level, but I felt like sharing anyway. So, presenting my creation Azureon (Azure from bright blue in colour like a cloudless sky even though it has no blue lol)  I used parts from Jolteon, Pidgeotto, Pidgey, Swablu, Archen, Rufflet and Braviary.

At 2:31:04 today there was a magnitude 4.4 (ish) earthquake at 11km depth just north of Swansea. Did you feel it? I was sat on the couch when it shook in a sideways one-two motion. I thought it was one of my dogs kicking the couch in their sleep, but neither were close enough for it to have been one of them. My mum and brother were both upstairs and felt it too. I'm curious to see what everyone has got! Cause I'm an adult now my haul ain't half as big as it was when I was but a wee tyke, but I got everything I asked for which is sick!
I got a new 2DS XL (the Pokéball one!) with Ultra Sun, which I asked for. Some gaming headphones for my PC because my last ones conked it, and I'd also asked for them! I also got Krispy Kreme lip gloss, a Pokémon shirt, Harry Potter plush dressing gown, squishy Mario red mushroom, a silver bangle and a "Happiness is finding free wifi" thing to hang on my wall.

Read the full article about the Event on the Chester Chronicle website!So if you still play PoGo, you most likely saw the news about an event in Chicago, also happening at the same time! Which not a lot of us can attend for Obvious™ reasons. However...  If any of you UK PKMNers have ever been to the historic City of Chester, you have likely walked down that street! I walk down in practically every week playing Niantic's other mobile game with my mum (and also playing PoGo at the same time, cause I gotta farm them pokeballs man). Chester's Big Heritage worked with Niantic to organise this event, which has seen a TON of new Pokéstops and Gyms cropping up (which is SICK even though there are some on top of each other which leads to hilarious screenshots). The historic Chester Castle is also opening up for the first time in eight TWENTY years, coinciding with this event. I know American PKMNers are likely unable to go, but UK ones!! I know it's short notice (I mean to get this up earlier but I forgot. I'm terrible), but this is the first event for PoGo in the UK, and it's not in London (thank GOD lol). I live very close to Chester, so for me this is Super teamvalour4lyfe

a general question to the room - to those of yall who have sky broadband as your ISP, have you been experiencing garbage an insane amount of bottlenecking in the past month or so??? we're paying for fibre optic and getting speeds of less than 1MB (fibreoptic is supposed to be like, 20MBs)

First lookSo I know it's a bit premature, but I'm really excited for this. It was hinted to be a hybrid portable console a while back but I didn't really follow the rumours so much, but the NX, now known as the Switch (presumably because it can switch between console and handheld) will (hopefully) be landing March 2017. Thoughts?

Another SuMo trailer released today on the Japanese Pokémon Youtube - and what the hellhere it isInstead of a mega bracelet (or perhaps with a mega bracelet) we get a Z bracelet which gives Pokémon a Z move. No idea what that is at the minute. Also new pokémon, and pokémon that directly fight your trainer  Mongoose pokémon evolution  Preying mantis with clown pants A gaggle of new seemingly important NPCs  More new Pokémon  flamenco  a different bird, cheerleading  this one is doing the hula  fan dancing!  they're all the same pokémon is what i'm making out here (different formes much like sawsbuck?)  this looks like a mine  YOU HIT IT AND IT OPENS  different COLOURS!!!!!!  god this poor thing looks like Trump  bruh (this may evolve into pants wearing mantis child)  those are some clown pants  BABY HORSE And the moment we've been waiting for - NEW TYPES FOR OLD POKÉMON!!! We get to see more pokemon such as an angry pinata  the same pinata, opened  here's the art for it  It seems to be Electric/Fairy? and a new friend, s q u a r e b u g, definitely bug/electric   it evolves into something shaped less like a friend  nintendo what the hell is this  ???????? normal dragon or maybe steel dragon i believe  but wait there's more  beautiful water/psychic fish  the mosquito you've been waiting for (are u kidding me this is rly cute) and it's bug fairy   O R B M O U S E. him round. electric normal i think   zygardes crazy new forme makes a show  and that's it for our new shiny pokemon. discuss which ones are the best and which ones the freaking fISH suck

Nintendo's first foray into mobile gaming is here! Miitomo is not dissimilar to the 3DS game, Tomodachi Life, except it's more Tamagotchi than Tomodachi. It was released today (31st of March), and so far I've spent about 10 minutes of it. As usual, the facial recognition and mii writing software of Nintendo still sucks absolute butts  Unfortunately like most mobile games these days it's essentially pay to win - the more mii coins you have, the more stuff you can buy, the quicker you get through the "game" It's not much, but it's pretty cutesy. Not bad for Nintendo's first. EDIT: The inevitable QR code
