Catherine. Why didn't I play this earlier? It's entertainingly difficult, the soundtrack kicks ass, and the atmosphere is pretty good. It manages to make wandering around a bar texting your girlfriend (and receiving raunchy photos from your one-night stand) quite enjoyable!

Sad that I've essentially lost the corner of one of my molars. No pain, but the thought of having to get a crown so early is a bit saddening. Well, hopefully I can get a partial crown, as there's still a lot of good tooth still there...

I have a couple, but one moment I've been happily reliving recently is the good ending to Mizuki's route in Yume Miru Kusuri.

Spoilers (in the shrunken text below)

Basically, after vanishing for 6 months, Mizuki returns and reveals that she's pregnant with your child. This is significant, as the poor girl literally had no confidence about her future. And now she has a future, starting a family with you. Which she promptly does so by giving birth on your bed.

I won't lie; I wept like a little girl when that happened. I actually cried tears of joy; an honour that hasn't been held by a piece of fiction for many, many years. After going through her story and exploring her character more, I couldn't help but blubber like a lady at a wedding.

Now, I know there are probably plenty of other VN connoisseurs on this site. While it may be scoff-worthy "YMK is baby's first VN! etc.", it doesn't matter; this game's got a special place in this saddo's heart!

Dad picked it up for me years ago, and I never got round to finishing it. Partly because I got stuck, partly because the disc no longer wishes to work. So I nabbed a PC version, and completed it.

Actually, I was referring to one of my neighbours, who has been constantly digging in his garden for the past few days now. What's he building in there? What the hell is he building in there? He has subscriptions to those magazines...he never waves when he goes by. He's hiding something from the rest of us... He's all to himself.

I'm confused as to why someone doesn't know when to put down the spade, and stop digging.
