I agree that Donna is my favourite "new" assistant so far.. though I watched Journey's End on iPlayer yesterday and her chance of rejoining was shown to be slightly impossible, so ah well.

Potential spoilers for upcoming specials (after The Waters of Mars):
Donna is supposedly visited by the Master during the finale/two-part special. The Master (still played by John Simm) will be wearing a mask (holding a mask?) at some point (which is probably to protect his identity as Mr Saxon), and rumour has it the two work together during the story. Also, Donna is getting married again, although apparently not to the Master. A lot of this is confirmed from set reports and photos. My guess is that the Master will arrive at Donna's house, knock on the door four times (with the trademark drum beat), Donna will answer and the plot will carry on from there. Wonder what he has in mind this time? Donna as insurance the Doctor won't try to harm him?

If you watch the CIN preview clip, David Morrisey's 'sonic screwdriver' is just a regular screw driver, leading me to believe he's pretending to be the Doctor. As well as similar hair styles and his 'companion' ...'Rosita' (Pretending to symbolise Rose), then he may just be a false Doctor.

As I've been saying all along... D: The concept's based loosely off The One Doctor, a Sixth Doctor audio drama.

Isn't the Christmas Special about a fake Doctor, not a new one? Because (and it certainly seems this way) it's apparently (loosely) based on the audio drama 'The One Doctor', which involved a fake Doctor and companion, much like what we're getting now (and fake Cybermen!). And going by the shots from the episode, Morrisey's Doctor doesn't have a proper TARDIS...
