The existance of Stealth Rock alone is reason why Shedinja isn't even used in Neverused tier. Weather adds to this in UU and above. I won't even list the numerous reasons why Shedinja should never be used. It's a very unique gimmick. But unique doesn't always mean good, especially for Shedinja.

Shedinja can be okay for humiliating people who are unprepared for it. Then again, the same can be said for Magikarp...

Sableye become a lot creepier when you read about what they're based on. I've always been a bit scared of aliens though.

How come Dunsparce is so hated anyway? I thought it was pretty useful back in the days of gold and silver

But in GS it didn't have Serene Grace, which is what makes it cool nowadays.

Try to kill a shedninja with a tackle attack

A much worse idea would be to peer into the hole in Shedinja's back. I know a guy who did that once. Now he's a vegetable.
Throwing a doll away would also seem to be a bad idea.
