I'm playing pokemon white and i'm trying to fish up a dragonite. I'm doing everything correctly and it's still taking days.

It would probably be faster to fish up a high level dragonair and just evolve it, but that would be anti-fun. :/

that is up to interpretation. if you want a good game, play 6 golden coins.

I would also suggest Machop/Machoke, Drifloon, Gastly/Haunter, and the Budew line. They aren't to hard to get although Drifloon is once a week.

Didn't notice, mostly because of this guy.

unluckily, sinnoh is horrible for fire types. if you don't pick Chimchar at the start, your only choices before the postgame are Rapidash and Houndoom. I'd recommend picking up a houndour at Route 214 if you want a fire type. You can pick up Rotom by talking to a TV in the Old Chateau, but it's alternate forms are for some reason only obtainable with an event item.

I would've got Lucario, but if I remember correctly, someone said it's available late and you have to raise it from level 1!

Yeah, Riolu is gotten from an egg from Riley after you clear Iron Island, (keep an empty party space for that) and Riolu evolves from happiness, only during the daytime. prepare for a lot of grinding if you want that Lucario. The VS seeker is better than wild mons, but i don't remember if you get that before the  postgame. :///

One or Two? One is, ehhhhhhhhh, and two is pretty good.

My first pokemon game was Ruby. The things i didn't know as a kid were astonishing. I didn't think to use pokemon other than my swampert, what the crud the Sealed Cavern was, version exclusive pokemon, (didn't know sapphire was a thing), and trade evolution were among the things. the fact that i beat the game several times with only a swampert, ever, says something about how hard pokemon is to play.

Victory Road is the best place in kanto before the elite four. If you don't want to fight wild pokemon, the VS Seeker lets you refight the trainers there.

probably pokemon emerald. ORAS didn't do it for me.
