Yeah, very good spot Turner.. frighteningly more realistic is correct. Mewtwo is one of the few legendaries whose backstory I actually find brilliant and like how GameFreak have left him.. forgotten, alone in a cave. It was one of my most favourite Pokémon growing up and.. if those leaks are true, I'm really not seeing how I'll grow to like it. Psychic/Flying perhaps with a Stat adjustment to give it Deoxys-S type speed..? Ugh.. they ruined Mewtwo as they rounded and cutened his sprite off as the generations grew old.. but this'd really disappoint me beyond a normal amount.

Well, as long as the second form isn't as... questionable as the first, I can't complain. I'm almost over the initial shock already. I always got DBZ vibes from Mewtwo, wouldn't be surprised if the second form had volcano ears.

although this is me seeing it AFTER reading the comments in this topic so idk what i was expecting. 
 
eh i could take it or leave it, but so far im not excited about this generations new pokémon/formes, confirmed or no.

Yeah the mewtwo 'leak' is pretty disturbing.

I think it's most disturbing because it might be true...for a number of reasons:

1) With all the X/Y hype, why would anyone bother doing something with the movie

2) One of the leaked images was also on a bag which is kind of an unusual leak

4) Mewtwo said something along the lines of "You don't know the REAL Mewtwo yet..." in one of the teaser trailers.

5) The 13th film had those shiny Legendary Dogs that unlocked a Zoroark in BW when you transfered it from the 4th Gen games, so wouldnt be surprised if they do this to promote the 6th gen game (Though a Shiny Genesect would  of been a nicer promotion... T.T)

Oh God it's like something out of a bad fanfic. I'm going to go on saying that it's not real until it's confirmed otherwise - only way I can keep my sanity. And who knows, maybe I'll have grown to like it by Saturday's reveal (unlikely).

They already gave away Extremespeed Shiny Genesect I believe.

There's supposed to be a reveal regarding the new movie in the next Corocoro which will be...next week.

On the good side, the Poster with Mewtwo on it looks exactly like...wait, I'll just show you in paint.



Looking at the poster...(Original on the right) it could well be that this is a fake. I can't see them showing off Mewtwo's potential new forme using the exact same poster pose. And I don't know...the 'new form' seems to look just like Mewtwo but with bits chopped off and added in a very 'photoshop' way.

I guess it's 50/50 at this point.

And that movie has the coolest, most badass title yet: Shinsoku Genesect.

I seriously don't think Mewtwo will get a new forme after all these years. It'll alienate the Genwunners. They've already been bashing Gen 5, which was pretty decent, IMO.

I'm sitting with a 50/50 opinion on this, I'm not saying this new forme is amazing but I think people are overreacting and seeing it as worse than it really is, simply because it's Mewtwo. As much as a leak like this screams fake I can't believe people are still so quick to call witch after being proved wrong about the Keldeo posters which were made in a very similar to these ones.

Its not a looker, BUT, if it was given a 2nd good typing and some stat boosts in some areas to make our old friend close to what he was in the first gen games (the moe "powerful" Pokemon), I'd warm up to it more...
