Scratch some patterns. maybe red stripes or just a red stripe in the middle that seperates the two colors.

It's kind of hard to do that on a blob with no details.....

It is a circle. Just trace along the middle with the red and make it thicker. Does that make sense?

Took some liberties, but lets agree, a recolor of Gengar would be nothing without something extra. Also, more pattern practice!
