No, the world is too imperfect for it to be the creation of a higher being. Why would anyone put suffering into a world of their creation?

Not to mention the fact it's completely irrational. The rate at which the universe expanded is a constant, and as such this deity would have to be constantly creating and expanding the universe.

That, and their is absolutely no reason to believe in it. I look at it the same way as fairies. Someone said "oh, this could exist" and now people believe it does. No. There is no proof whatsoever besides a moldy old book that contradicts itself a million times.
