Alright, even if I am in no position to question your opinions, I must say that SD over DEN is a tad bold, although Rivers and the Chargers beat them in the Regular season. I'm also kinda surprised I was the only one going with San Fran over Carolina.

Raven, bestow your wisdom upon us.

On a lighter note, I got Madden 13 for the Wii U, so I get to see Weedan suck in HD! :D

i needed an upset somewhere ok
i just think phillip rivers and the rest of the chargers are playing some fantastic football at the moment, and they seem like the 'cinderella' this year (like the giants, i guess... (or were they the 5th seed? idk))

SirBlaziken

Gaints were seed 6. And we all know how cinderella twams end up. Looking at you FGCU! (Florida Gulf Coast University)

The reason the Chargers beat the Broncos last time was because the Broncos couldn't score on every possession.  Denver defense could also never get a third down stop at all - it looked like a very boring game on the surface but it was exciting because San Diego's gameplan was executed to perfection; keep Manning off the field, and the no huddle dies down.  It's what the Giants did to the Bills in Super Bowl 25 and it's exactly how you stop a powerful no huddle offense.

However, Denver also had Bubba Caldwell working the slot instead of Wes Welker.  Bubba Caldwell isn't nearly as good as Welker, and I'm fairly sure Julius Thomas was also out the last time they played.  It was Thursday Night Football, and you're missing two of your best weapons; do the math here.  Denver could not really win that game very easily, especially on the shoulders of that defense.  So the Broncos also kept themselves off the field by having to punt.  (This is also why Thursday Night Football is a terrible idea).

Bengals lost yesterday because Mathews was just finding his stride in the game, and the Chargers employed largely the same tactics they had been employing.  Dalton also had one of the worst meltdowns I have seen a quarterback have in football.  I feel bad for him, but if you're playing like that with the receivers you've got access to then you deserve to lose like that.

Alright, I get what you're saying. That makes sense.

Next, IND at NE

woo i was wrong (twice!)

the patriots game was fun to watch if you were a runningback coach haha...

Lord Raven

On the contrary, when the Chargers tried to run the ball the Broncos stopped them in their tracks.  The Broncos receivers, meanwhile, may just lose them the game...  they should've scored 28 points in the first half and another 14 in the second half but drops to PERFECT passes were rampant.  Jesus.

If it's niners vs. Pats in the SB, I'm not watching it. Just saying....

dont call yourself an nfl fan if you say you wouldnt watch the super bowl

niners-pats sounds great imo

SirBlaziken

I mean it's just even though every QB left is overhyped, Seattle and Denver have worked the hardest to get to this point, or at least to me.

Lord Raven

Manning and Brady are overhyped?  Kaepernick is I agree, and I think Wilson is overhyped by ESPN but not by football fans.
