15673.  Well, for one, what about people that die at birth? They do effect the world, yes, but they aren't important.

15681.

OBJECTION! Maybe they do not have an important direct impact on the world, but who knows what changing the family's emotions could do! Indirectly, the person could change everything in a big way.

15683. You've pointed out your own flaw. 'Person could change everything', ergo not definite, ergo the chances of this happening every time are so slim it is reasonable to assume you're theory invalid.

15684. OBJECTION!

Dick, even the smallest impact can indirectly change everything. When you think of things like that, it becomes far easier to consider the idea that every person can have change things, however slightly, even if they die at birth.

15685. Having an effect on the world =/= to being important. You punching me has an effect on the world, but isn't really important. Granted, that child could have grown up to fire a nuclear bomb that could wipe out a country, but that is mere speculation. You can't say everyone is important; it defies the definition:

Of great / significant value.

If everything is 'significant', nothing stands out, ergo nothing is actually significant thus nothing is important! Which if course isn't true, but it's what would happen if your crazy theory were true.

15687. Blaze, making a mindless post in the middle of a debate is rather, well, mindless?

lugia95

15688. I think the problem here is that we believe in different things. There really isn't any right or wrong here, just what we each believe to be right and wrong.

SirBlaziken

15689,

OBJECTION!

I ended it, ergo making it the end of the debate, not the middle, Dick.

15690, but we all just ignore your attempt at ending the debate because it doesn't actually solve anything for use

Well, it doesn't fit the definiton of important, so it's not important...
