18305. Ground because you're the 'grounded one' you're the person who acts like they are totally not insane....

&I have read your post... what is the Boston Tea Party? - I don't do American History, sorry!

SirBlaziken

18306, and it's bad to be partly sane?

The Boston Tea Party was a protest by colonist patriots who hated the new taxes, especially the tea tax, and wanted to do something about it. So, the Sons of Liberty (patriots) dressed up as Mohawk indians and raided 5 ships, throwing over $1 million dollars worth of tea.

18307. Yes.

Oh, so they threw 1 million dollars of tea, that they could have just stolen over board... or am I wrong?

But mannnn, Colonists, they were all still British at heart.

wonder guard is op
and to answer your question, the boston tea party was an event in the american revolution where people dressed as indians dumped tea into the boston harbor due to parliament's high tax on the tea.

18309. I like your use of the word "acts".

SirBlaziken

18310, well, then the king closed Boston Harbor until the colonists paid it all off.

And I'm not really sane offline, just on the site

18311. Your explanation was a bit easier for someone who has only ever learnt about the Great Depression (in terms of American History... of course I've done tons of European History)

It's all an act, Nate, in the words of Luna Lovegood "You're just as sane as I am"
