Thought I'd mention this, since it might be useful to some people: my Friend Safari gives Chansey, which have a 5% chance of holding Lucky Eggs. Very useful to Theif from them if you want to speed up the process of raising Pokemon. :>

Thanks for the suggestion Rich! Started farming about half an hour ago and ended up encountering a shiny Chansey! I'm as happy as a cat full of six-pences.
