masuda method and foreign pokemans

my friend from singapore sent me a lot of mons for breeding and pokedex, could i use these for masuda method?

mostly asking since i saw someone with a spanish gengar with 'SPA' in the corner of their screen and was told this is how to tell its from spain, but the ones he sent have nothing. should i try my luck at wonder trade instead or

Hmmm...they should come up with some sort of foreign language marker...but if there is no marker, then they aren't eligible for Masuda Method then :/
