I stare at the empty badge case, not believing what I'm seeing. How could I have gotten caught by this guy? "Quick question. If you have no badges and you have been on a journey for less than a week, how the Distortion World did you get THAT team?"

"Staraptor and Leavanny were handed down to me by my father. He used to be a trainer too!" Right, dont confuse me with somebody who cares. "What about the Emboar, Leavanny and Bisharp?"

"Gobs of rare candies." Marcus replies. Rare candies may seem like the best, but they taste like Tauros crap. They make the Pokemon stronger but the taste is unbearable. Blech.

"Whatever. Let's get to Striaton City anyway. I hear they have a restaurant there." I grumble. He may have a strong team, but I still dont fully trust him. After all, he technically kidnapped my friend. Marcus throws a Pokeball into the air and Staraptor bursts out of it.

"Sawyer, we're heading to Striaton. Time to use Fly!" He says. Sawyer. Neat name, has a nice ring to it for a Staraptor. Sawyer salutes and signals for me and Marcus to get on it's feathered back. As soon as I do Sawyer launches himself into the air at full speed, almost making me fall off.

I can begin to taste my breakfast again, trying not to hurl at a hundred feet. Trying not to eject vomit from my mouth, I ask Marcus "How can Staraptor use Fly if you dont have the gym badges?"

"That only applies in the video games. What do you think would happen if I used Fly without a badge, we'd get arrested?"

Marcus chuckles to himself whereas I just put my head in my hands. I dont need him to dump terrible jokes on me as well. Ugh.

TBH, I just remembered myself.

Restarting

Yeah, at the minute the reason this has had no updates for a while is
A) my bad memory and
B) Insane writer's block

I have pretty much written myself into a corner, so the best thing for me to do would be restart this. I will still use Zeke, but other characters may be changed in different ways, or may be simply replaced.

Therefore, I'm going to lock this thread and post the first part of my new one ASAP. It will have a different storyline of course, or else restarting this would be pointless.
