^ Book em in advance and travel after 10 and before 4. Cheapest ticket I ever got from Birmingham to Peterborough was something like seven quid, should have been thirty.

It depends really, the cheapest for me was to buy a few days before, leaving either at about 9am or 4pm and getting off at the closest stop, before getting a local train separately. A few weeks back would cost me £25-35, normal £45-50 and doing that would be £15-20. Plus it depends how 'big' the station you're going to is and how lucky you get.

Sorry to hear about your break up Liam, I know how lonely Uni can be too so stay strong =/

We're all here for you, Liam! Those kind of things freaking suck, dude...

I've gotten back in touch with my cousin? We haven't spoken for, like, years and it's over Tumblr which sucks since it's awkward. Either way, family is family and I preferred her over my blood side cousins. Will have to share a drink and have a catch up or something.

I managed to DL 100kgs today. I'm pretty surprised that my lifts didn't die whilst I was off since I was really happy about being able to hit the big 100. It's really not much but you should have seen my face when I first managed to lift it - I was ecstatic.

Twenty on Wednesday and it's like... whoa... I genuinely don't have any plans for it but I want to take my bro to see Les Mis' since he's low on money and we both enjoyed it when we went with the school.

One of those days it seems

Was the same going back to Birmingham, and you can't really get much bigger than New Street (except York/King's X)

Liam- Don't get too upset. I met my fiancee at uni, so it's not that bad.

That Cadbury Jelly Popping Candy Shells bar is the worst idea they've come up with IMO. Cola Pretzel works a treat and the Banana one works too >_<

Good day, though I had my hair blown everywhere by the wind

I didn't get offered a job (although they might make an Apprenticeship application for me so I will get paid and won't have to go to the job centre, although that might not even get approved) and by Job Advisor was really condescending and made me feel like a bit of a plank about things.

At least I did great at volunteering and I get to wear a bin cape when I go in Friday (said I'd come in on Friday to help out) and I'll be working at the other place two days this week (although Job Centre might pull the plug on that too smh)

Oh, I've got homework too. Great.

Liam

cheers guys :)

to be fair the breakup is the least of my worries, it's been on the cards for a while and i'm not feeling too bad about it (wow i sound like a bellend). I'm really enjoying uni it's just that i have no bloody money left and I'm too proud to ask for any help.

so I applied for a job yesterday to help bulk out my time for job hunting (since I had lost time doing work I shouldn't have been doing) and they've already told me I've been short listed for that role? What a weird day.

Milsap

Quoteand by Job Advisor was really condescending and made me feel like a bit of a plank about things.

I've been on the dole twice. The job advisors are really condescending and a lot of the time they send you backwards. Have they sent you to one of those back to work seminars yet where they basically tell you what they're already doing?

"We've got a job at McDonalds for you"
"No thanks"
"No- you're having this job"
"I'm a qualified teacher"
"Not my problem"
"Look, I'm not being a job snob, but I have slaved my arse off for four years and spent countless thousands to get this point, this is what I'm qualified to do"
"Not my problem"

no but I've already organised volunteering and work experience for myself and they don't like that I've done it because I haven't done it through them and they've set me modules to do in terms of how to get a job and stuff like that, even though I already know, it's just about getting an opportunity and building from it. I know exactly what I've got to do but it's almost as if they're limiting me rather than helping me.

That being said my Advisor did e-mail me an opening and said he could get me an interview so that's a plus. Hopefully he sorts me out.

Damnit guys, Birdy - Skinny Love. It's like a 360 qwikskopez to the feels.

I remember listening to the song when I fell for a girl about two or three years ago and "Birdy" looks like the girl I've recently gotten over... like... a week ago. It feels bad.

Muahaha, I'm a mess of conflicting feelings for people who don't care about me in the slightest and it feels great.

Today would've been my parents anniversary had the status quo not changed. I'm surprisingly apathetic about it right now, heaven knows why.

I just wrote what seems to be a small essay on fordism. Also found out that it's Gramsci's despite the fact that we have not been told this.

I said I would write up on some other guy... but to be honest, I deserve a break after all I've written tonight. I'll write it up in tutorial.
