Favorite Music Types

With all the music types flying around and constantly mixing with each other, there's got to be a few that stand out to you. So what are they?

As for me, I'm mostly a fan of Rock, Alternative Rock, Country, Metal, Heavy Metal and Pop Punk.

i tried answering this but i got a headache because theres so many names for genres now

stuff like los campesinos and arctic monkeys old stuff, fast paced clever lyricism and good backing music
and whatever the hell genre animal collective is, especially their song moonjock

I go through phases of what my favourite genre is, atm I'm on a PBR&B, Electronic (and Ambient) and Industrial Hip Hop hype

Spent a lot of the year on a Progressive Rock and Indie Rock zone. Dunno what will be next, I guess it depends what new band / artist sparks my interest (like I was avoiding PBR&B for a bit until I gave FKA twigs a listen and that revived my interest) ^^;

70s Disco, 80s New Wave and Dance, Freestyle, House, and 70s and 80s Pop.

I would definitely say Metal is up there as a whole as my favourite, though sub-genres make everything confusing.

Otherwise, I'm opening myself up a little to more chart music (obviously some genres of music in there aren't gonna be liked by me in forever), so I'm getting a bit less close-minded about what I can like.

i would say that, but im a hardcore 2chainz fan

also nobody has tried to get someone to name all of an artists albums (aka the #realfan test) and its a pokemon forum

Depends on what I'm doing. I'll have jazz on when working, relaxed So-Cal music on when driving through town but have heavy, fast stuff on to keep my awake on the motorway.

Love country, blues, pop punk, early 90s rap, grunge, jazz and classical.
