Gastrodon idea...

Had an idea for doubles using two Gastrodons (one West one East) both with Storm Drain and spamming Surf increasing their Special Attack each time. Throw Earthquake and Earth Power in with Stone Edge and I think it might work...Thoughts???

Could even use Lanturn + Gastrodon in case of species clause - Lanturn has water absorb and Gastrodon is naturally immune to discharge and obviously has storm drain for surf. Only downside is you can't use EQ, but I'd rather use Earth Power anyways.

Edit: although I should mention, neither strategy is particularly strong, they're too weak to begin with and to actually get strong enough to do damage takes so long you'd have been better off using a normal team, unfortunately.

Lumineon also gets Storm Drain, and while it's not going to hit very hard initially, at least it's reasonably fast.

There are plenty more combinations we can use to add to the team or use in a different one.
