Sounds crazy, but what if Amy's already had the baby? As the result of the Silence doing stuff to her while she was out or Timey Wimey stuff?

Presumably the Silence have something to do with the schrodinger's baby hoo-hah
seeing as that's what one of them was telling Amy that she had to tell the Doctor about it
I think that's what it meant anyway... there was no other reason for Amy to suddenly tell him about it in the middle of a Vaguely Actiony Scene.

Maybe in the future... was it in this thread that somebody suggested that perhaps the eyepatch woman is from Amy's future, and is looking back through her memories to find something.. maybe something to do with the baby? I mean Amy's timeline with that baby is pretty tangled-up anyway, what with the photographs in the little girl's room back in episode two.
Ah, well. She's back next week, perhaps she'll say something interesting then.

Also noticing I think Detective Finney and DC Chris Skelton-- er, mark bonnar and marshall lancaster... next week. I'm just borderline excited to see some actors that I recognise that's all.
Written by one of the Life on Mars people... then again he also wrote "Fear Her"... er... still this looks like a promisingly unnerving episode
it's what i'm hoping for

OK I noticed an interesting thing... The T.A.R.DI.S called Amy, Rose and the others strays, however it was Rory she called the pretty one.

Yeah, very strange, a woman insulting any other women who are close to the man she wanted to go on an adventure with.

Darkwing

I more meant the fact that she refered to the companions as strays, hinting at her thinking them to be almost beneath her... then flirts with and praises the seasons butt monkey.

Sebastian Moran

I thought that it was more of a throwaway line/joke, the pretty thing
She said to the doctor, "you bring home strays".. i thought that she meant all of the companions there... no indication that she didn't mean Rory as well.
No reason why he can't be a pretty stray :v

I did find the whole mentions of "sexy" and "pretty" to be more childish/fun than anything too serious from the Doctor and TARDIS
then again I can't help but think that the Doctor [well, Eleven then] will happily flirt without any thought of it being more than messing about... this is me remembering his response when River kissed him, despite the fact that they'd been flirting shamelessly in the two episodes before that.

Plus Amy's relationship with the Doctor does seem to be more.. father/daughter than anything else, what with the forehead kissing and him referring to Amy and Rory as "the kids".

The relationship between the Doctor and the TARDIS reflects the relationship between a man and his car. There's a kind of attraction between the two.

in b4 "this episode was rubbish!!!"

i liked it
particularly as this was written by the "Fear Her" guy so my expectations were a bit wobbly
not ~FANTASTIC~ but hey
it amused me
i liked the "WHOOPS, in the acid again what am I like??"
and
rory managed to stay alive
..for now

also, two of mark bonnar

It certainly had some interesting ideas, but I'll reserve judgment till after part 2...

come on DC chris skelton get gene hunt on your clone or something

seriously the marshall lancaster appearance was good enough for me even if this was an okay episode

mostly cos basically it was proverbially "trying to follow up the kid who had a real life dinosaur at show 'n' tell" that was trying to follow up the neil gaiman episode and the two silence episodes

Specstile

It was ok i guess.
This series has not been great apart from the first two eppisodes

Coincidence? I think not.

Mind you, Amy was asleep for a few days. Who knows what the Silence could of done to her in that time... o.o
NAILED IT, just about. I just KNEW the silence did something off camera to Amy, and there we go. ;P

That would imply that the Flesh is part of a far greater storyline, which I can see happening..

Meh, comparing proper musical careers to the X Factor is like comparing a relationship to a date rape.
