Awsome episode, had some thought river would be the girl.
But at the end with the suspence I definatly felt like 10th Doctor hitting the Titanic at the end of series 3
Thanks Catstorm

Okay so.. I'd be more surprised if people didn't guess it
what with the name that she gave her daughter and all
Not such a bad cliffhanger maybe because we know that River's okay..

Also
I liked that episode
well, the first half not soo much with the.. parade of different aliens
I did rather love the sontaran nurse though.. [get well soon.. so that I can DESTROY YOU IN BATTLE... can you get greetings cards with that on?]
but
yeah
went from ridiculously dramatic to ridiculously charming to ridiculously ridiculous
putting up balloons in a tardis makes a time lord, who knew

also, haaar at the next episode name
"Let's Kill Hitler!"

Anyone catch the teaser after the credits? The boney arm with the screwdriver going out? Hurry up September!!! :X

Think "Let's Kill Hitler!" kinda killed the suspense seeing the end. Ah well... XD

I THINK i have figured it out! Almost certain, dont read if pottential spoilers.
The suit is making river kill the doctor when she grows up. She can not control the suit in a way and resists by saying 'help me' or 'help me' by releasing her. However it is not long till the suit takes complete control and becomes possessed. (Not so certain about this but the following i am certain!)
The thing is, river can never be released from the suit by force, she is held hostage, if she does get removed she dies. and that is where the clone of the doctor comes in. He sacrifices himself for river, then the spaceman will let her go as the mission programmed is complete.(Leads onto the time where she coughs and regenerates) This is how the eye patch lady works, targeting his heart for his friends, thats why river says he is the best man she has ever known. That's why she is a weapon.
River tries to kill the spaceman, but this will cause some sort of paradox .

True... but I rather want her to end up killing Rory... he hasn't died/appeared to die in the last three episodes and I'm getting quite worried

also, hurray for Gatiss voice cameo.. i believe.. sounded like him.. the "danny boy" pilot.. am I just going mad? Probably
Checking on imdb... not there.
There is however a listing for one of the Silence
odd
I don't remember seeing one

/badumcssh
seriously though i don't

I think River's identity was really shocking... NAAT! It was quite predictable, it was one of the most popular theories online and in our group of friends.

Hahex and Oshawott

Well, I have to say the reveal was pretty interesting what with the people from the forest and stuff.

Danse Macabre ( 6,6)

I kind of liked the episode, though the 'collecting debts' part of the episode simply felt like filler... did the Sontaran, Silurian and token blue man really make that much of a difference to the episode? Otherwise I definitely didn't see the 'flesh' baby coming.  :D

The River Song/Melody Pond twist was one of the most common theories going, I think the Doctor breaking out some Venusian Akido would have been a much better suprise.

What do you mean 'filler'??...It's setting up the story... =p You can't just have them appear without explaining why they're there...The point is that the Doctor has risen an army in order to get Amy and the baby back. =p

Yes.

They didn't need to be there AT ALL. They didn't realy serve any purpose other than to die later on & therefore illicite an emotional response that could have been filled MUCH better with good acting/writing.

The point is that the Doctor drew up an army in order to get Amy back, which didn't do much that the Doctor couldn't have done himself (other than the Silurian support of course) and he's now abandoned the 'army' again within the space of an episode to do pretty much the same thing again (rescue someone from unknown forces)... but without an army.

Other than that I liked the episode. :D

River got really happy when she saw Rory at the beginning.
