so this summer my friend and i threw popcorn at people's houses, and today i figured out who has been beeping at our houses, yelling things at our houses, and throwing popcorn at my friends house... its the kid i've liked for almost 10 months now. omg. you guys have no idea how happy i am that i solved my summer mystery.

Housemate gave her number to a guy at a party because he was nice to her. Guy invites her to stay the night at his place, just the two of them. She (my housemate) agrees to this and several hours later is surprised when he tries to kiss her and asks if he can sleep with her! Don't worry she said no...and just slept next to him instead. How was it not obvious that he wanted to do this from the beginning!?

Anyway I think this whole event is very funny because she always goes on about how clever and worldly wise she is!

Edit: if I wasn't teasing her then I'd still be happy that at least the guy was nice and respected her wishes and made no attempt to use alcohol, instead opting for the candle lit dinner...I still don't get how she missed all the signs of what was happening.

And I am now in possession of the single cutest wind-up torch ever.

I just bought one of these as well! =D It's so cute.

I'm happy because I'm actually going to get 8 hours sleep tonight. I've been getting like 5/6 for the past week due to freshers. We still have another week of freshers to go as well =]

I'm also happy because I have recently made a lot of amazing new friends. And I have actually enjoyed going out and drinking every single night (normally followed by a toast party) for the past week. Good times =]

Had a nice night even though the union was terrible... only about 10 people on the dancefloor and about 30 people sat down. We grabbed a pizza from the Dominos stand in the union and we went home and sat around talking until 2am before I crawled onto IRC until about 3:30am  xD

I've had a wonderful day surprisingly enough; my teacher marked me as on time despite being an hour late, I had a productive day in watching the episodes of The Inbetweeners even though I've already seen them, caught up with Eastenders, learned what I need to do with my personal statement and I have a slight boost on what I'm going to do for the future. For the first time in a while I can say that life is looking slightly good =]
