Went Christmas shopping today with tonsilitis.

Ironicly I went to a shop to get Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, but came out with a small Lego car...

In the library from 11am to 5pm... Alex and I intended to get there for 9am but that clearly wasn't going to happen. Spent a few hours doing hard work [Alex had 14 books she could use by the end of the day, I had 2] and then Rachel, Rob, Adam and Lara turned up and we had an amazing time geeking out writing assignments. :')  Poor Adam was subjected to a lot of friendly abuse.

my spectroscopy lecturer's name is Lance. 
..no that's not what's making me happy but I just saw that now and i was slightly amused. 
 
er. 
I was happy earlier as it was not a busy day. 
and there was someone giving out free hugs outside the union 
so I got a hug and a mince pie from him 
which sounds like a good outcome to me 
even if i did then walk into the wrong building and nearly miss the start of my next lecture <:

there's a chance i'm getting a pocketwatch for christmas 
i do rather like them but was too embarrassed to ask 
my grandma phoned a while ago and said that she had decided what to get me and that it would be a waistcoat 
which despite myself i am slightly thrilled by even though i really don't suit things like that 
ah well 
feck it, you're only young and obnoxious once. 
 
also I have almost completely sorted out what i'm going to buy my family and friends, and that has never happened before.

Done my historical investigation essay... submitted it... so... I can finally plan things to do over the Christmas break! :D   I'm ignoring the 3 assignments and 3 weeks worth of Criminology reading I have to do before term starts again, being Christmassy in York and Worcester are more important and I am having that icecream party no matter what. ^-^ so so happy
