 I managed to get a new deck of tarot cards and the book with the meanings for a fiver yesterday. Still going to use my mothers old deck though, once I learn how to read them.

Things are just going nicely right now. My clothes match my new student card and I've got a bit of a beard growing.

I've also started a small workout program and I'm on day 3 right now so it's all good.

if you have trouble w/ the meanings try to look @ ones w/ rider-waite symbolism and memorise the general pictures in those cos the rider-waite deck is a good novice deck for a reason
this is a decent site for meanings/deck research/pretty pictures of decks 
the tarot bible by sarah bartlett is a good My First Tarot Book if you find it cheap i found cos it tends to do a lot of the "if you get this card in the 'you now' position" sorta stuff
as cool as it was being something of crowleys, avoid the thoth until you get better at basic tarot if the thoth deck took your fancy at all


im a bit of a tarot bore through curiosity and research for a story im workin on since forever but yeah it feels good to sperg out about the tarot w/ little provocation again

 Yeah my mother used to do loads of readings and she said that the pictures are the best ways to remember their meanings. I'm good with the cards but then you have the cups, wands, pentacles and swords which I'm going to probably struggle on.

I'll check out the site though, thanks, since it looks like a good read. Do you do any readings yourself?



Turns out that my tutor for my first year of A/S levels is going to be one of my favourite lecturers from my media studies course! I'm more pumped for this year than I thought I could be.

I saw Mulan again today. Although I thought the ending was a bit silly, I do think that it is the greatest, deepest animated film of all time.

Rachel Riley is going to do Strictly this year. I always love her on 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown so it should be good. I love Strictly.

My College course was completely free even though I'm 19 ahahahahahaha

such a fantastic day, so so so happy

also transfer deadline day is hella hype even though i'm not big on football. who's going where when and for how much????? so many questions, so exciting.

 College starts in about 9 hours and the morning seems pretty decent from where I'm looking at it 

Mum bought me a new bag and I've put my pencil case in there and I've got my binder in there and my body is ready for tomorrow!

Meeting this guy who is in my tutorial group in the morning then walking down to meet my friend and then when we get to college, we'll stand outside our room and help out the newbies.

The temptation to take my 3DS to get a few cheeky streetpasses is deadly though. It's a shame that my Mii genuinly resembles me at the moment... I might do it though.

Really looking forward to Christmas now aswell.
