Metagame Spriting tutorial

Errr it's a massive image, be warned.
But yes. Enjoy! It can easily be generalised to spriting as a whole.

EDIT: DAMNIT I DIDN'T MENTION TAPERING I knew I'd forget something D: there wasn't really much tapering to do in this sprite.. so a final tip: any bits of lineart that stick into your sprite (like the crease between Bidoof's ear and head) will look better if you make blend the tips of the line into the body using shadow. Peace out man.

Sorry, Alex, I know you said you were doing one but I didn't realise that until after I'd made it.. I didn't actually make it to post here, I made it FOR someone and just posted it here as an afterthought =C didn't mean to butt in D:

EDIT: Moonchaser, would it be oka if you could try and do another trainer/pokemorph guide. It being blurred and the sprites being small and stuff kinda makes it harder to understand (That's why I'm redoing my recolour guide)
