All of the television shows that I love, bar one, are UKian. And I feel quite terrible about that: I have no kind of anti-US sentiment or anything.
Don't have the problem with USian films, though. Not that I watch many films of any kind. I've no idea why. Laziness. Haven't been to the cinema in God knows how long.

Anyway, it's essentially because I don't have a television right now-- and when I did I rarely watched it-- so most of what I watch is either on [oft borrowed, cough] DVDs or BBC iPlayer. The latter, clearly, usually only shows UKian programmes.
As for the former, I've been told of a lot of shows which do sound interesting, but the main problem seems to be that the series are so long and I know that once I start watching, if I like it then I won't stop until I've finished all of the series that I can.
And I don't have time to get addicted to catching up on a television show when my sleeping patterns are already somewhat haywire as it is.
I've been told by a friend that the next time I see her I am to watch the Office, though, so hey ho.

Speaking of which.. UK/US versions of shows, chances are that I'll have watched the UK version first, so it'll take a while to get used to the US one, but I don't hold any kind of resentment against the remake... though there's often bewilderment [I'm looking at you, Life on Mars].

Only joking, it's because I hate the US. I only watch House because of Hugh Laurie, and am sure to close my eyes whenever anyone else is on screen.

the "e" in my name еcho isnt actually and e: its a symbol that doubles as the letter e. for example, if you were to copy "е", and then use the find tool, only the е's in this post and in my name will show up. on the front page, i get greeted as, "Welcome ?cho!"

confusing? yes. cool? only a little.
