My housemate has lost her keys, so I've given her mine for today since she'll be at work this evening. So I have to stay in all day, as I have no way of locking the front door. So I'm staying in on a lovely and bright day! Wonderful. This is why I like weekends on my own! No hassle.

Stoopid finger. The plasters I have to wear at work to cover it up made the cut go all gammy, when it was healing as nicely as I could expect it to. So of everyone, I /had/ to go on break early, because I can't risk getting any alcohol in it. I can't use my left hand for cleaning, so I have to do everything cack-handed as it is, and I can;t run food because where it's so deep, putting too much pressure on it really hurts

har i think the best way to avoid scar tissue forming is to prevent it from drying out?? like thats why some plasters are breathable but keep it wet still

although if you're talking about those big blue plasters at workplaces i don't know WHERE they get them from but they are literally ridiculous like literally mountains of sweat underneath the plaster when you take it off

Yeah big blue plasters. You need to let them breathe, especially being as deep as this one is. It's deep enough to leave quite a bad scar anyway, so I'm not bothered by that. I just don't wanna risk it getting infected.

literally i hate using those blue ones cos it just becomes all sweaty and ends up slipping off

i found some REALLY good ones with absolutely adorable cartoon animals all over them
and the cartoon penguin one he
he just looks so insouciant and sassy
and its like oh my god a sarcastic penguin its the best concept in the world
these plasters actually have characterful animals on them
