See, when the Sun came out earlier it was still really cold; the snow hasn't even melted yet here but it's horrible and slushy. So yeah, quite frustrating to be walking in.

Nah, it's not snowy enough. It's just too slushy and not snowy-like. And it's been cold throughout, just at it's coldest today. Should have been more clear, sorry.

Feeling really crap and there's one person in particular I really want to go get a hug off, but he's hurt his back and needs to be resting so I don't want to bother him ^^; eh.

I'm just giving advice - this goes for both genders, never treat someone like they're sick or hurt (though don't act heartless and be like "oh stop whining", what I'm saying is don't baby them because they are sick, or treat them like they can't do as much, basically, don't bring attention to it). It just makes them feel worse.
