Our seminar portfolio for Crime and Society... up until now we've been answering questions from the module guide and putting those in our portfolio, but the new lecturer has introduced a new set of seminar material because he put stuff in the module guide that he's not doing now... so we're doing "activities" and the like instead of answering questions and it's getting really confusing about how we're meant to approach this portfolio. At least we're allowed to miss out a week or two in each term. Makes it easier.

The depressing you topic; isn't it weird that I feel comfortable talking about what is making me sad but when it comes to something which is genuinely adding to depression I don't feel comfortable stating it, let alone going into detail? I've just thought about it when trying to add another post to it. Hmm.

why my friends cat is terrified of my new goat hat! i was wearing it around his house and i walked into his room after getting a drink, the cat sat bolt up right eyes wide, as i got closer it's back arched and it backed away from me, soon after it bolted out the door. I followed and it just stared me with a petrified looking face backing away from me! i took it off and hid it and the cat went back to normal. I got my friend to wear it to see if it actually was the hat and it reacted the same! once he took it off the cat was fine... strange

Talking to a friend about her boyfriend meeting her parents. She wondered how it'd be if I'd asked her out before she met him and I was going to stay with her family for Christmas. Does that mean she would have said yes? I thought she hated friends asking out friends? I know it doesn't matter now because if there was an opportunity its gone, but I can't help thinking about it.
