If I click my fingers in the "normal" way I don't get sound. If I use my ring finger, however, I DO get sound.

If you twist your wrist slightly outwards while you do it, it kinda helps. Or so I've heard. o_o

I'm confused as to why this distance education course hasn't emailed me back in two weeks. Their helplines aren't very helpful either, and I'm terrible at navigating my way through operators. I'll probably just have to email them and hope for a reply, I guess.

I question myself now - am I the husk of a being whose creative desires were not meshed by influential sources and "rules"? And should I return to ignoring every fiction-creating rule? 

Pardon me while I attempt to write something about this.

Catstorm opened the door and shoved a mess of papers onto the desk in front of some very official-looking gentlemen. "THIS is what you are looking for, men," she explained, "the REAL me who lives in the REAL part of my brain. I will insure that a cable system of re-applying my standards is installed in Aquapolis. This cannot be what it is now."

The men stared at her. Catstorm turned into a metal dragon and slashed their pants off.

*** (re-created self-insert fic about me kicking butt) ***

"It's awfully controlling," muttered one man.

Catstorm returned to cat form and looked them in their dull blue eyes. "So what? I don't have to have the main character (me) be stoppable. It's more fun when I'm insanely powerful. I just demonstrated that to you by creating a possible boxers gag – if this was a visual work of art."

Catstorm proceeded to shoot a laser beam at a fireplace, demonstrating random tactics and item placement. It was a good idea but the men were unimpressed by that, too.

"You'll see. You foreigners to Aquapolis. I have the real control here."

Oh, I see, brain. The men represent me influenced by TV Tropes and fan-fiction rules. Catstorm represents the random me who is the real amazing storyteller and shouldn't be blocked by making flawed characters. Wait, but flawed characters are fun! No, control freaks are the best because you write about yourself being awesome. Oh no, I'm still confused. Later!

i've never really had red wine before, it's usually rose or w/e
and i'm fine when i drink that? it's nice. red just makes me feel nauseous. not even drunk or tipsy, just nauseous. it sucks. :<
