Well at first I actually chose Oshawott, but I got the the point where it couldn't get any further due to type disadvantages and I restarted and chose Emboar because I'd already had experience with fire/fighting types. When it became Emboar, there was not a single moment when it wasn't in my team. It had some pretty beast moves, Flare Blitz, Brick Break, Stone Edge and Earthquake.

313. I mainly build competitive teams now though, and Emboar is pretty bad competitively (not a good enough attack effectively, not bulky enough to wall) but in game he's ok.

Tepig just looks more piglike, so I like him more

4. I like Emboar in game, although I went through Oshawott (I didn't like Samurott's design so I restarted) and Snivy (I don't know why I restarted this one.) before I chose Tepig. And I have absolutely nothing against the Emboar line... I like them a lot!

10. Ingame, that teams good, but Emboars nature is probably the worst possible, it's +S. Atk -Atk, when all his moves are physical.

But ingame that really doesn't matter, it's only competitive that natures actually matter
