42, protect doesn't always work twice in a row, it's 50/50. Plus everyone has extremespeed in ubers, so focus sash wouldn't save you.

48. They aren't overused. They're needed. If you don't have a direct counter to a choice scarf user, you're screwed. If you were against someone like me, who uses completely uncalled for tactics, you might end up with a choice scarf user you can't stop. This is why priority moves are needed.
