The fourth, fifth, sixth, and ninth movies still had shorts, just separate on the DVD.  They should release the other shorts, though, even though we're way past them.  If anything else, I hope the seventh and eighth shorts were dubbed just so we can hear Maddie Blaustein's voice again, God rest her soul.   

I thought I'd have some fun with the 10th anniversary of the Pokemon dub coming up next month (September so I compiled a list of what I consider to be my personal top 50 (or, actually, 52) Pokemon episodes (plus movies, shorts, and Chronicles) of all time.  I wanted to watch them in a marathon format so I can enjoy my favorite half hours (or more) all at once.  I know you're going to find it strange that I've overloaded on fillers and major Team Rocket episodes, but hey, those are the kinds of episodes I like.  Here they are from 50 to 1.

Yay, for the first time ever, a human member of Team Rocket gets their name in the title.     Every single twerp has had one (I count "Maxxed Out"), it's about time Jessie or James got their turn.

I know when it comes to the first seven movies, the first, second, and fourth are all extremely close in how much I like them.  Pokemon 2000 and Pokemon 4Ever are both spectacular moves, especially 2000's story and 4Ever's final twist.  Mewtwo Strikes Back is my sentimental favorite because it was my introduction to Pokemon, and what got me started with liking Team Rocket.  As for the others, the Jirachi movie is right in the middle, and the other movies are not favorites of mine.  Here's the list, from best to worst:

I have no opinion on the eighth movie since it hasn't aired in the U.S., but I have some hope for it.

Here's my top six (or seven, since there's a tie) episodes of Pokemon of all time:

1. Sweet Baby James (it tugs the heart strings, don't you know!)

2. A Better Pill to Swallow (funniest episode ever!)\

3. Tricks of the Trade (hello Wobbuffet, good riddance Lickitung and (sort of) Heracross)

4. Dues and Don'ts (terrific Team Rocket episode)

5. The Bicker the Better
A Double Dilemma (both extremely hilarious)

6. Address Unown (all I can say is... WOW)

I have a new #1 episode!

Without a doubt, my favorite movie short was "Gotta Dance".     Team Rocket get to be the stars, it's absolutely hilarious (especially Treecko), and we even get Jessie and James in half-view.   Definitely the best of the shorts.

Really Really Relicanth has thankfully been changed to The Relicanth Really Can.

The Film Riding on Camerupt --> Lights, Camerupt, Action!  (I think I've heard a title like that before   )

Mystery Pokemon from Outer Space --> Crazy as a Lunatone!

The Snorlax in Slakoth's Banana Garden --> The Garden of Eatin'!  (I like that one   )

I'm liking "Whiscash and Ash", because it might mean we'll have somebody else say the title for the first time since Team Rocket in "The Wayward Wobbuffet" three years ago.  Misty said the title the only other time Ash's name was used ("Ash Catches a Pokemon").

I can't wait for the wynaut one!    Too bad it won't air in the US for a year.    I wonder if we'll see the same wynaut from the Clair episodes in season five?  "Why? Wynaut!" is one of my favorite episodes (raise your hand if you're at all surprised), so I'm hoping we will see him again.

Once Again, Team Aqua vs. Team Magma! --> Fight for the Meteorite

I think the second one would have been better if we didn't already have an older episode with a similar title ("Fight for the Light").  That's the second time in two seasons we've had almost-repeat titles ("Turning Over a Nuzleaf" was the other).

I like "Maxed Out", it really fits the storyline so well.
