Today was awesome.

I had my music lesson like usual and my teachers like "Do you want a new trumpet?" I got a brand spanking new Yamaha trumpet for free <3 I've been using this crappy jupiter for about 3 years :/ It's COPPER and looks so shiny and the case is awesome ahsvjhd

Also as usual we ended up in hysterics in admin over something quite stupid <3 Kinda hard to concentrate when you're trying to do these god damn 'if' statments on Excel. I LOVE ADMIN

and I got only 1 question wrong in my practice NAB (test) for maths. Doing the proper one on monday and if i get the same I can go up a level! INT 2 HERE I COME!

I finally have my car back after it failed its MOT =D Poor rusty car, but it's all good now (apart from the fact that it will probably fail its MOT next year due to rust somewhere else!). My wing mirror has also been fixed (some idiot knocked it off a few months ago and it hasnt been right since), which is nice because it will stop moving everywhere when I drive.

I'm also looking forward to going on holiday with my boyfriend on Monday. We're going to Spain for a week and it will be awesome. It will be my first holiday without someone 'in charge'/supervising/looking after/telling us what to do/etc (like parents or school teachers), so it will be a bit weird as we'll have to plan everything and get there and stuff. As long as I can get us there and find our holiday rep it should be fine.

And I'm about to eat some lovely pizza =]

my summer adventures have officially come to an end. between beeping at houses and throwing popcorn at people we knew's houses, and getting popcorn and beeps in return, my friend and i decided to write anonymous love letters to the kid i like. written with my left hand and so astoundingly creepy they're hilarious (ie: i watch you sleep each night... you look so at peace...), and then attach them to a box of something, and then throw them at his house. we decided to wrap it up today by throwing a water bottle with his name on it at his house, with a long love letter expressing how her father is making her move to canada but she will return to him. and then we threw it at his house wrapped in a ziploc bag with calvin klein nasty smelling perfume in it.

i really wish i could see his expression when he opens the bag and everything haha.

why yes i am a creep and i do enjoy it.

Helping the boyfriend with job hunting and he got a call like 5 minutes later from one of them! Sounds promising! *fingers crossed*

and also the fact that I just escaped from the house for two hours under the pretence of going up to the main town to post a form off.
By some stroke of luck, our little town's post office had decided to open early, so I just posted it there and had the rest of the time to myself.
So I went to the back of our park and sat on a fallen tree and read, surrounded by hoverflies and the smell of..  those little pink flowers with the teardrop-shaped seed pods that pop when you touch them.. I'm trying to find out their name but am having little success D: I always knew them as "raggy Dans" or "kiss me on the mountain", but neither of those yields any google image results, so I'm guessing they're just local names.. still, they smell lovely.

Also, I finally managed to sort out the wireless connection for my new PC. The one that came with the unit worked for like an hour the other night, then refused to even SEE a network. So I took it back today with receipt etc and they gave me a brand new Belkin N 150 dongle thing which actually WORKS!
