Freshers fortnight at uni is going well =D I'm on day 3 and I'm a bit tired, but so far it has been awesome. I've made quite a few friends already. Most are from my hall because there is some pretty intense competition between halls at the moment, especially when we're all in our fresher's t-shirts. Apparently it will die down after we do the big Sing Off between all the halls on Sunday (our hall songs are 'interesting')! It is pretty funny, although a few drunk people take it too far.

I also love my room. It's a lot bigger and nicer than I thought it was going to be. I thought I was going to have too much stuff, but it's looking like I don't have enough =P Pretty happy that I got a decent room and great flatmates!

And the town is really nice as well. A lot of good shops so I'm happy =]

pretty girl recommended a band to me today and said 'you just look like you appreciate good lyrics'. then we bonded over the fact we go to see movies for the girls so we can stare at them like 'durrhurr *G*'... then she invited me to polo with her. i'd need to bump my sister's id, but she invited me to a freakin gay bar.

That actually made me smile as well =] that has made me happy, along with having been told my voice is much better than someone anticipated =] I'm not big-headed, but compliments are always nice, especially when it's about something I'm passionate about.
