The German Christmas Market thingy in the centre of Bristol. It looked quite good and one of the food stores had a whole spit roast pig and you could choose which part of the pig you wanted meat from and they'd cut it out for you. *nom nom nom*

I wanted to buy sparkly glass candle holders but they were far too expensive (like pretty much everything there). I might go back to by a woolly hat shaped like a piggy.

Glad I went this year and spent all my money. In Bruge for £3! Awesome! =D
Felt sorry for the brass band though, it was raining when I watched them. Got to go next weekend to claim my animal shaped woolly hat.

Physics finished and handed in two hours before the deadline, even if I did have to tramp up the three floors of stairs to reception, be told that I hadn't printed out part of it correctly, tramped back down, back to the library, printed it, out of the library, back to the physics building, up three flights of stairs and handed it in again properly. 
Why the reception is on floor G I've no idea. 
and why the entrance is on floor D I've only a mild idea. It involves the fact that there are hills. 
er. 
The excessive stair-tramping was rather my fault anyway, as I unfortunately had forgotten about the whole cover sheet thing that the physics department has until it was too late. Not that it matters now: all done. All handed in. For today, anyway. 
 
Also my mum sent me a text today saying, essentially, I HAVE BOUGHT YOU A LOT OF DVDs. 
Cue giddiness. 
[they'd be giftmas/birthday presents, not just DVDs out of nowhere. Perhaps] 
I've no idea how much "a lot of" entails, but seeing as this is the first year in... many years that I've actually given my family a clue as to what I want aside from "no, I don't want anything", it's all very exciting. I forgot to add the Private Life of Sherlock Holmes to that list, but I sense that if I update it any more she will kill me with a shoe. 
Shall buy it myself I do think. Found it online for a fiver. 
 
And I intend to force my family to watch the First Men in the Moon when I get back for the holiday, because I have no mercy and it seems like the kind of film one watches with the family over christmas. And my mother said that it looked charming.
