a little bit of Animal Crossing Wii, and a bit of FE10, trying to do Hard mode, I think I've gotten over the worse of part 1, Edward and Nolan are kicking large amounts of ass for me right now.  Jill is doing OK.

son wait until endgame part 1.  part 1 will never ease up on you despite how much you think, and then wait until their chapters in part 3.  *shiver* i had to use an A support between Zihark and Volug and left lady luck to determine my fate from there...  resolve (without wildheart) on volug helped him a lot and zihark's 40ish HP with A support helped him and zihark was bascially promoted by the time i got to the end of that chapter.  then again, jill and nolan got RNG screwed..

of course there are people like me who couldn't really get into a PS2 until he got like 100-150 dollars in graduation money to buy it and craploads of games himself in 2010.  having that said, finishing touches on FF13, trying to play FF12/9/5, and starting MGS4.

I guess I should've told you not to use Edward...  the key to hard mode is picking who you want to use ahead of time and then going out of your way to make those select people powerful...  and being strict about who those "select people" are, so something like Nolan and Jill would be very very much preferable to Edward, and Zihark is one of your most valuable assets in HM.  Zihark/Sothe/Volug/a certain guy that should be dead but isn't/Nailah sorta/Jill/Nolan.

Though it's best I'm telling you now, because I tried raising all the Greil Mercs in my first playthrough in hard and it didn't work...  my successful playthrough had me using just Titania/Gatrie/Boyd/Ike/Mist/Shinon/Callil (i let her solo a chapter with handholding and it was worth it, I don't recommend you do the same unless you absolutely must have a mage).  Crossbows are your friend too.  Low leveled units are not.

I dunno, Zihark's stats seem a bit dampered to me  and in the long run a little lower than Ed's.  However, he does have Earth af which is quite an advatange and perhaps in the longrun better than Edward's better stats.

and yeah I am narrowing my unit selection to a slender amonut.  I only use Aran if really ndeeded, and he's not high level.
