Phoning student finance again. You know, for fun. 
Also, crying. 
I'm not quite sure what the agreement was that we reached because I couldn't understand her accent very well, and I suspect that after the first five "I'm sorry, what?" it's rude to ask her to repeat herself again. Then there was her constantly getting my name wrong... I need to lie down for a bit and also worry about what the hell will actually happen now. 
Whatever it is, I dimly suspect that it won't be a loan. 
 
And I'll have to phone again. Urg. 
I retain that it wasn't my fault that the form was sent in late: I phoned up my mother and asked if she'd sent it [I'd had to post it back to her because she needed to sign several pages]. She told me that she had. Then, a week or so later I arrive home and she admits that, sorry, she didn't send it off. 
 
And I'm still getting "sorry, you were too late in applying" letters through now, and my mother promised that she would phone them, and really I just want to hide under my bed until everything goes away. 
Who needs to go to university anyway?
