8525. I'm going to go down the line the news does, and say that tests are too easy.

quack98

8526. If that's the case, why do neither you not Chloe have straight A*. I'd say yourw both above average, so if they're so easy, you should have all A*, correct?

lugia95

8527. In my case, it's because I live in Scotland, so the exams are different. I don't know about Chloe.

quack98

8528. Well, in English exams only 10% can get an A*, ergo (yes, I did learn that word from AA :P) it is all relative to the rest of he country, not the difficulty of the paper.

lugia95

8529. Um.... nope, I don't have any arguments against that.

quack98

Oh, really? That may be why Edgeworth always sues Ergo instead of Therefore, it must e a lucky word o something

8531. "Sues" - not a great typo to make when you're talking about lawyers.

And I think it basically makes you sound smarter than if you used therefore.

8532. I shall remember hat for my English paper in November...

lugia95

8533. You know what else is a good word? Aforementioned. So good for essays.

quack98

8534. Yeah, I don't tend to need it so much in papers, but I use it quite a bit in science (when referring to equipment, usually)

lugia95

8535. I used it in pretty much every history essay I wrote.

quack98

8536. Yeah, I dropped History at first opportunity

8537. I took it to advanced. I didn't pass, but whatever.

quack98

8538. I take it advanced is college? (In England it's SATs, gcseS & A-levels)

lugia95

8539. No. Advanced is an option in the final year of high school - it's pretty much the highest level of the subject before university.
