Your Launch Day Plans

Just getting my ideas for X and Y threads out the way while I have the time. XD For those picking it up on day one, what are your plans for buying and playing the games?

For me, I'm getting an early start to my local Game store and buying both versions first thing it opens. There might be an extra purchase if funds are kind to me too, hint hint. I know most people will be ordering online in the hope of getting it a day early, but since buying Red version on launch day at the very same store, its a tradition I buy the new main entry games on launch date at that same store for old times sake.

As for playing, I'm spending the whole weekend as much as I can to play through them both. I might not go as mad as I did with GS when I stayed up a whole 24 hours after getting them launch day, but nothing else will see time during that weekend. :3

Sadly, I do not have the time or money to get it on launch day, because unless it's for example, my birthday, I'm expected to buy it myself. I'd love to, though. Looks like I'd better put it on my christmas wish list

At the moment, planning to do my Xmas shopping on XY release date. Definitely a coincidence. Maybe.

Well it's a Saturday and I always go and do the shopping with my Mum around noon so I'll probably buy it from Tesco (other supermarket chains are available) and then walk home to get down to some hardcore playing

casually opens up ebay to see what kind of price 3DSs are selling for after having told myself that i'd just wait until christmas or something like that. 
 
if i do wait then i'm going to have to not be online at all or end up knowing everything about the game before i play it .-.

I also plan on getting to my local Gamestop and picking up my Pokemon X game, downloading the event Torchic, choosing Fennekin and Charmander, and trying to get through as much as I can the rest of the day. This is my third preorder I have ever done and will be my second get to the store as soon as possible on the release date game. I may luck out again and get a FEMALE starter in the very first five minutes of playing!

Have a nice lie in, since it's saturday, and hopefully it will come in the post while I'm asleep otherwise I will be impatient waiting for it if I'm awake. When I start playing it, I'm going to soft reset for female starters since I  want to breed them and trade them for the other starters.
