16052. Well you could do the 'elf trick' and tell the truth but don't tell the whole truth. for example they would say "I can't help you" instead of "I can't help you but x can"

16053. I do that a lot, actually, although what I usually do is tell the truth but don't actually answer they're question. So they'd ask "are you free to go out tomorrow" and I'd say "I'm seeing a friend", which could be technically true but me visiting the friend wouldn't be preventing me from meeting with them at all.

But yeah, Dick suggested I say "I'm meeting a friend from England", leaving out the "on skype" part...
