It seems in America that Thanksgiving is ignored a lot these days. As soons as halloween passes, many skip right to christmas. This annoys me, a lot. i want to learn to sew/knit properly but anything new i start i can never be bothered to stick at it. Knitting just annoyed me when i tried it i made like 5 rows of a scarf and gave up. Plus all the jargon on patterns what? my granny is amazing at it but she doesn't have the patience to teach me because i'm so stubborn.
i just want to do crafty things because i miss making stuff and i love the sense of achievement you get when it's done.
Found some patterns for random plushie animals that seem easy enough and i can do basic stitches.
also no sewing machine except from at college but i never liked using them they always broke haha. plus some guy tried to sew onto a huge canvas this year? the embellisher was awesome though.

 ^ Sewing is really fun just try and make things you can use on a day to day basis and with a bit of luck you'll get better  It's a handy skill for fixing rips in clothes.

Oh aye, yeah, I thought that I could be coming down with tonsilitis last week but now it's feeling more like it could be sinusitus and neither of them are good and I've got too much work to be doing to feel ill.

I don't actually have a lot of work to be doing, but I don't want to fall behind.

I really don't understand this German module... I have to learn to read academic German, but it goes so fast and doesn't actually cover any of the basics, so I end up just feeling like I don't really have a clue what I'm doing. Hieroglyphs take up a large proportion of my time too, and they make me feel inadequate enough without a modern language doing the same.

Can't I just stick to French and Spanish texts?? At least I understand vaguely whats going on...
